The Candidates is a fast-paced one-act comedy that takes the classic job interview and cranks the chaos to eleven. When Rick, Head of HR, and Jackie, VP of Operations at Dubbo Dynamics, advertise for an administrative assistant, they’re flooded with applicants -each more bizarre than the last. As the interviews spiral further out of control, the pair begin questioning their sanity, their careers, and possibly the future of corporate Australia.
Packed with colourful characters, absurd interviews, and over-the-top antics, Bakker Productions’ senior students deliver a sharp, energetic comedy full of chaos and laughs.
